About Trent Croll
Our journey began as a sideline hobby for Trent which turned into a full-time job in 2017 when Trent Croll’s Learn to Swim Program was established. Since starting it became more and more apparent that there was a need for a purpose built learn to swim school in Dubbo and so the quest to make this a reality began. Frog Pond Swim School was established in 2021 and since relocating to our new centre in November 2022 we now cater for a wider range of students enabling us to provide a learn to swim environment to more of the community.
Over the years we have noticed how much quicker students will progress with their swimming ability in a private or small group environment. Our class sizes are restricted so that our instructors can focus their attention on providing an individualised program for each child enabling them to learn in the most effective way.
We aim to provide a fun and effective lesson each week with more personalised attention for every student.
Our instructors are Austswim qualified
with over experience in teaching children of all ages.
Our instructors are all AUSTSWIM qualified with the following accreditations across our centre:
- AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety
- AUSTSWIM Teacher of Infant and Preschool Aquatics
- AUSTSWIM Teacher of Aquatics Access and Inclusion
- AUSTSWIM Teacher of Towards Competitive Strokes
- AUSTSWIM Teacher of Adults
The AUSTSWIM accreditation is the industry standard for Swimming and Water Safety Teachers™ and is delivered and recognised in each state and territory of Australia and many countries overseas. It includes training in teaching specific programs such as infants, people with a disability and adults.
